Talk "Operational Costs"
Surnut wanted to start this year supporting its network of national producers with a new advice on the ground. This Thursday, February 4, in the commune of San Bernardo, an important talk was held by the Agronomist Matías Boris Bianchini, a graduate of the Universidad del Mar, who, through his advisory company Elite Walnut Global, shared valuable information about operational costs in the production of walnuts.
This technical assistance plan for producers is part of the Corfo Supplier Development Program (PDP), which provides support through actions such as consulting, technology transfer and training, included in a development plan for the companies supplying a plaintiff firm, in this case Surnut. This technical advice is meaning a valuable help for producers, in their purpose of harvesting a better quality walnut and, also, it is also highly beneficial for Surnut, since it allows access to first-class products, which are exported to demanding markets abroad. In this way, in short, delighting the palate of final consumers.
